Policies - Cat Grooming

Cats have varying reactions to grooming, with some cats taking pleasure in professional grooming while others do not. There are also cats that may feel uneasy around strangers and in unfamiliar surroundings. As a result, specific arrangements are designated for cat grooming appointments.
 

IMPORTANT: WE DO NOT DO LION CUT FOR CATS

  • All prices quoted are guide prices only. Some cats may require additional grooming care and effort. Extra grooming time or resources will be allocated to ensure their needs are met. Additional fees may apply accordingly. 

  • A pre-booking form to assist our understanding of the cat's health condition, behavior, and grooming history. If the cat is deemed unsuitable for professional grooming, we will request your understanding that we cannot schedule an appointment.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. Please e-Transfer to pay.bepawtique@gmail.com 

  • At the first visit, owners must be present for a "greet and consult" session, which lasts around 30 minutes. During this session, the groomer will begin basic grooming procedures with the cats and observe their behavior and reaction to the grooming. If the cats exhibit any signs of discomfort, the service will need to be discontinued. Full service fee will be charged in such cases as the time slot and resources has already been reserved for the appointment.

  • All cats must be on their valid FVRCP and rabies vaccinations when they come to grooming. Please reserve at least 14 days after the date of vaccination for your grooming appointment.
  • Female cats in heat or during pregnancy are not accepted for grooming appointments.

  • We do not offer de-matting or hair-shaving services to cats due to the extreme stress that may potentially cause to them.

  • All cats must be brought in a carrier.​

  • Please come and pick up your cats at our advised time. Waiting in an unfamiliar grooming room may trigger anxiety and fear in the cats.

  • The safety of both our pet customers and our groomers is our top priority. While we make every effort to accommodate all pets, if we determine that a pet poses a risk to themselves or our staff, we may need to suspend the grooming services. In such cases, full service fee will still be charged as the time slot and resources has already been reserved for the appointment.
