Policies - Private Venue / Pawty Rental

1. All rentals are subject to the approval of Be Pawtique Pet Services Ltd.


2. Be Pawtique gets priority over the venue rentals. The venue is reserved on an “as is basis” and must be left in the condition found.


3. The renter(s) are responsible for any damage to Be Pawtique’s property and equipment. The cost of repairing any such damage will be additional charges if necessary and it is mutually agreed between the renter(s) and Be Pawtique. Examples of items requiring charges include but are not limited to:
- Damage to the walls, floors, or bathroom facilities.
- Additional cleaning and repair costs to restore the venue, grounds, equipment, or other property to the same condition before Renter(s) use the venue and Be Pawtique’s property. This includes the use of confetti or any other difficult-to-clean items.
- Nothing can be affixed to furniture, the building, or any part thereof. The use of thumbtacks, nails, staples, or any other item puncturing any surface is prohibited.

 

4. Tables and chairs are included upon request and subject to availability, but the renter(s) are responsible for cleaning up (setting up and putting away tables/chairs, wiping off tables after use, and cleaning any spills off the floors). The space cannot be accessed earlier than the rental time, so set up and clean up time should be taken into account in the booking time. We will provide any cleaning supplies needed. Failure to satisfactorily clean the venue as found will result in an additional charge of a $100 cleaning fee. All equipment must be removed at the end of the rental time.


5. The venue is restricted to non-profit associations, charities, educational and pet care/pet training events, and private party use.


6. The Renter(s) must ensure that the number of guests is within the stated limit.

 

7. Storage space is not available before or after rental.


8. Tacking, nailing, or drilling is not permitted on any surface within the designated venue area; non-residue adhesive or removable hooks are permitted for decorations. Confetti, glitter, or open-flame candles are not permitted.


9. Please note that alcohol is not permitted on our premises and Be Pawtique is not liable for any food or beverage consumed by either humans or pets


10. Be Pawtique does not supply any audio-visual equipment at this time but you may bring in your own.


11. This is a non-smoking facility. Please note that smoking is not permitted within 5 meters of the premise


12. No cooking of food is permitted within the rental area


13. If the applicant deliberately, negligently, or innocently misrepresents any information required of him/her by this Agreement, or is determined to be in violation of the terms of this Agreement, then this Agreement will be canceled with immediate effect and the rental
will not be allowed to commence or continue if the event is already in progress.


14. Be Pawtique retains the right to terminate the event at any time should any rental patrons or guests not comply with the rental policies.

 

Payment
Full payment must be made within 2 business days after confirming the booking. Otherwise, the booking will be canceled automatically. The rental fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be received in writing (email). 50% of the rental fee can be refunded if canceled 48 hours before the booking date. No refund on the rental fee if the cancellation request is received within 48 hours from the booking date.

 

​​We reserve the right to refuse/remove any dog(s) from the dog play zone immediately at our sole discretion and without giving any reason(s).
